French as second language and ASD

I used to watch all my favourite cartoons in french because I found the different sounds that french makes compared to english fascinating. I never got good at other languages but I always liked to listen to them. I never had youtube to do it with but I would probably have done the same thing. I learned to count to 20 in french in school but that is as far as I got. I had too much trouble with english that the school decided not to bother with french by grade 4.
